What is a website custom design?
A custom website design starts from a blank slate. We work together to build a goals focused website from the ground up. Every decision is made specifically to suit the needs of your business, from fonts and colors to page layout and site structure. The website is entirely customized for your business and targeted at your ideal customers.
Do I need a theme or a custom website design?
Pre-built WordPress themes may cost a bit less—but they can be fairly generic, though given time constraints and website needs, this may be a good option for you. My specialty is in building fully custom WordPress websites, but I can work with existing themes to get the most out of them within their specific constraints. Often, a custom website design is the proper solution as it’s built to meet your specific goals, and the goals of your target audience. This helps remove page bloat and allows us to really dial in the details. My custom designed themes ensure that you can edit everything you need to edit, easily.
How much does it cost?
The elephant in the room, how much does it cost? I approach each project on it’s own and cost accordingly. Every client has different needs from their website, and as such I cost each project individually. This allows us to arrive at a budget that makes sense for both of us. How long will this take?
I can typically have a website up and running in about 8–12 weeks. This is just an estimate as the actual timeframe will be agreed upon prior to project kick-off. I do my best to work within your timeline.
Do you handle web hosting?
I do not provide web hosting, but I will guide you in choosing the best host for your website’s specific needs, and can help walk you through setting that up.
Do you handle purchasing URLs?
I do not purchase URLs for my clients. The URL is yours and you should own it. I can help you research and find available URLs, then guide you on where and how to purchase them.
Will my site be responsive?
Heck yea! Responsive websites are the only way to go. When we work together, your website will have an easy-to-use navigation system with content that looks beautiful on any device.
